Foreclosures

Foreclosures are governed by many technical requirements. For example, the trustee of a foreclosure sale must submit his or her account of sale to the Commissioner of Accounts within six months of the date of sale. Failure to file the account of sale timely may result in the disallowance of the trustee’s commission on the sale.
